Understand your options
| Choice | What to consider |
|---|---|
| REHAU | Research casement, flush, vertical sliding and tilt-and-turn options; identify the exact range quoted. |
| VEKA / Halo | Research the particular casement, flush, reversible, sash or door system, rather than treating the group name as one product. |
| Deceuninck | Research flush and other window ranges alongside French and sliding-door options. |
| Liniar | Research casement, flush and tilt-and-turn windows, with the fabricator’s offered door configurations. |
| Eurocell | Distinguish ranges such as Logik, Charisma and Syncro; the names describe different product families. |
| The Residence Collection | Compare the actual R7, R9 or R2 proposal, including its interior detail and finish. |
| Kömmerling | Identify the exact window or residential-door system and fabricator. |
| Profile 22 / Optima | Confirm the actual Optima configuration and finished-product specification; a system reference is not the complete order. |
Who actually makes your window?
The profile-system business, fabricator, retailer and installer can be different organisations. Ask who performs each role and who handles an aftercare issue. Two quotations using the same system name may still use different glass, reinforcement, hardware or service arrangements. Keep those choices visible on the comparison sheet.
Use brand comparisons only when the proposals exist
A worthwhile REHAU-versus-Deceuninck or VEKA-versus-Liniar page needs to compare exact models on a common brief. Ask both suppliers to quote the same sizes, opening methods, glass and finish. Compare the finished specification and aftercare responsibilities before deciding which proposal gives you better value.
What evidence belongs with the quote?
Request an elevation, opening method, full finish schedule and the relevant complete-product performance information. Ask for applicable certification and warranty terms for the finished assembly. A certificate for a system or one tested configuration should not silently become a guarantee for every fabricated window or door. Compare installation and making good separately.

Apply it to your project
A homeowner has two quotes both described as a leading German system. Ask each supplier to name the model, fabricator, glass and hardware. That turns a vague brand comparison into a comparison of two finished products with clear responsibilities.
Questions before you choose
Which brand is best?
There is no useful universal winner without the product type, dimensions, finish, glass and service requirements. Compare exact proposals against the project.
Will Bifoldsandmore offer all of these?
This guide covers systems found in the UK market. Ask us which exact system and finished specification can be quoted for your project; the names here do not imply a supply partnership.
