Doors

Measure width at top, middle, bottom and height at left, centre, right. Always record the smallest dimension for manufacture. Note any out-of-square apertures.

Windows

Record aperture W × H at three points each. Note transom & mullion positions from the inside left edge. Record escape-opening requirements separately and have the final specification checked for the project.

Garage Doors

OPW aperture width · OPH aperture height · RVL1/2 reveals · LTL lintel depth · HRM headroom · IHT internal height · RTN return into garage. Sectional doors need RTN ≥100mm and HRM ≥240mm.
