Powder-coated finish
Cover for the aluminium powder coating.
Understand the cover for your glazing, the difference between products and installation, and how to ask for support.
This page summarises supplier information. Your quotation and warranty documents should identify the supplier, product, covered components, start date and exclusions. The aluminium schedule below applies to products supplied through Glass Openings; it is not a blanket guarantee for every system in our range.
Cover for the aluminium powder coating.
Includes sealed units containing integral blinds.
Cover for product hardware.
Periods run from purchase. Component manufacturers provide the guarantees. Supply-only cover is parts-only, excluding labour, and is non-transferable.
Correct fitting and maintenance are essential. Neglect, misuse, accidental damage and ordinary wear are excluded. Exposure, coastal locations, structural support, opening tolerances and low-threshold drainage can affect eligibility. Bifold use is restricted to domestic, ground-floor locations unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Check the full supplier conditions before specifying your opening. They contain detailed fitting restrictions and a £250 prepaid inspection charge for mainland England and Wales, refunded for a valid warranty claim. This is the supplier’s inspection policy, not an automatic Bifoldsandmore charge.
Read the full Glass Openings guaranteeFor Modplan-supplied windows and doors, ask us for the warranty schedule for your chosen system before approving the order. Cover for profiles, decorative finishes, sealed glass and hardware must be checked individually.
We have not verified a complete published Modplan warranty schedule for the whole uPVC range. A single guarantee period should not be assumed to cover every component or installation labour.
The PatioMaster brochure hosted by Modplan advertises a 10-year guarantee for its twin-track and triple-track sliding-door systems. This reference is specific to PatioMaster and does not establish the component exclusions, labour cover or warranty periods for other Modplan products.
Keep the product warranty with your invoice and installation instructions. Ask your appointed fitter about their separate workmanship cover and retain their handover documents.
Your installation quotation should identify the installer, work included and any workmanship guarantee. Do not assume that a manufacturer’s product guarantee also pays for removal, refitting or making good.
Manufacturer warranties are additional to your statutory rights. Nothing on this page limits those rights or Door Central Ltd’s responsibilities as your seller.
Contact Bifoldsandmore with your order reference, delivery address, affected product and a description of the issue. Include clear photographs and the date the problem first appeared. Please avoid sending payment-card details.
Keep your order documents and maintenance records together. Ask us before arranging chargeable remedial work so the appropriate claim process can be established.
